Has implications for encouraging more female surgeons to be trained and hired in Pakistan, since this preference for gender concordance may possible lead to less females seeking surgical healthcare when they need it.
We found that around half of people in Pakistan prefer surgeons who are of the same gender as themselves (gender concordance i.e. females preferring female surgeons).
Do you beat yourself up if you get someone or something wrong? Dont!
You are bound to make mistakes because that makes you human. Dont put it on repeat in your mind. Take it as a lesson, learn from it and focus on not repeating it in future.
