You go to med school to specifically become a doctor and work in that role. When people repeatedly refer to you as a nurse—or even housekeeping staff—because they’ve assumed you cant possibly be a doctor, you’re allowed to be unhappy & PAINED. It happens to female docs everywhere
To all PAINED Nigerian female Drs, let me tell U why you’re PAINED when called a Nurse.
It’s simply becos U find that title belittling, void of any iota of respect & you believe it’s not dignifying.
It’s quite sad we av pple with these type of mindset towards their colleagues.

Doctor should check for signs of life (pulse, breathing, rising chest) in 10 seconds and start CPR right away. it seemed to be started about 1 minute after responders arrived.

I’m a doctor in the UK. I (double) check BNF a couple times a day. I’m not about to needlessly cause harm to a patient or give GMC a reason to come for my license. You are encouraged to check BNF. Even the pharmacists check BNF.

having done both PLAB 2 and step 2CS, i found plab 2 more difficult to prep/take—never ending new scenarios, varied types of cases, a short time 3h for 18 cases (vs 8h for 12 cases step 2cs)
im not sure people who havent taken either are qualified to comment on plab quality imo
