@Rob_Kimbell EU law has always allowed for deportations. Freedom of movement only counts for workers. If you can’t find work you can be deported. Countries do it all the time. UK had never quite understood this or unable to implement.

@EdConwaySky Applies to software engineering too. The more cpu cores and memory are available and become cheaper due to moore’s law the more bloated and resource hungry our systems get. Why put the effort in optimising systems when you can just buy hardware? Glad there’s a name for it!
