Three years ago today I got the dreaded call, I had breast cancer. It was terrifying. But one surgery and lots of radiation later, I’m still cancer free. My mammogram results last week were clear so back to enjoying life!

Friends, I have to share this amazing sight from my hike today, I’ve never seen anything like it, it was so beautiful. The clouds were lit up like a rainbow it was just stunning. Oh, and there were beautiful mountains too! 🏔️🌈

Friends!! To get from Long Beach Washington to Cannon branch in Oregon, you have to cross this ridiculous bridge over the Columbia River. It is 4 miles long and it’s the longest continuous truss in the US. It’s scary as hell!!

Good morning friends! I’m still on a high from last night, I still can’t believe it. I have waited my whole life to see the northern lights then for it to happen in my favorite place. Wow, just wow!! The colors were unreal, the red, pink, purple! I am the happiest person today!

I made it to my secret, tiny mini-vacation location. Surprise, I went to Mt Rainier! This is my house for the night and 50 feet to the left is the park entrance. Of course I’ve already been up to Paradise once but now I’m relaxing. More pics to follow!

Friends, I have a sad update on my sweet Molly. At the ultrasound they found a mass on her pancreas & took a sample. It came back as cancer. I’m traveling for work next week but when I get home I’m going to have to make a difficult decision. I’m so sad. 😿

I have to share the motel I stayed at last night, Whittaker’s Bunkhouse. I’ve mentioned them as a place I stop for coffee. It was cheap, clean and comfortable. If you go to Rainier, I recommend it! And keys, I almost forgot how to use it!!

They closed the gate to Rainier’s overnight and didn’t open till after 9 so it meant as I drove down, I had the road to myself. I stopped many times and stood in the road for photos. Not often you get this opportunity. It was a stunning winter wonderland! ☃️🥰
