Prior to Jimmy Magson going All-State in 2015, Hamden had one player (Will Hindinger, 2010) get that acclaim since 1996.

Enjoyed taking in a

game tonight w/ my dad. A pastime which was commonplace every winter Friday and Saturday night when I was young.
We saw a win which was cool but cheering alongside him, nostalgic as hell, in the corniest possible way, was the real win.

Division II is perennially a very chalky 1st round division. With 12-seed North Branford, 13-seed EH Co-op & 14-seed Trumbull winning, that's the most upsets in a DII 1st Round since 2014.
AND there are still games to go. Last time DII saw four 1st rd upsets was 2007.

Easy no. The level of play has watered down so much over the years (juniors, prep). Watching your teams back then was the peak of my CTHSHockey years. Watching the D1 final last year, from an on ice talent standpoint, mirrored a D2/D3 game back in your day. It’s not even close.
