CT American Legion has every intention of playing a full season this summer for all age groups. As soon as more details are known about when the current restrictions may be lifted, more details to follow. Looking forward to seeing the best players in CTALBB uniforms this summer.

A group was formed last night to organize a summer/fall baseball program for 2020. Those organizers will be in touch with all of the teams that were planning to play CT ALBB in 2020 with details, similar to CTALBB format and rules are being anticipated. Stay tuned almost there.

It is with great disappointment that we announce the CT American Legion Baseball season is suspended. The National American Legion has shutdown all sponsorship and involvement. We are exploring ways to play baseball independently and will make a decision by 1 June.

The top 3 teams hold their spots, with Greenwich and Willimantic entering the top 10. Big jumps from West Hartford and Waterford, with Danbury and Ellington dropping but staying in the top 10. North Haven and Westport drop out of the Top 10 this week.

Plans are coming together for the 2021 CTALBB Rawlings Players Showcase, scheduled for 7 July at New Britain Stadium. Legion Team coaches will be nominating players for tryouts. College coaches and pro scouts will be evaluating players!!!

Champions will be named in all divisions of CTALBB this weekend. Follow all of the action in the U19, U17, Prep and 13 year old divisions. Teams earned their way into the tournament by full season play. No “invitational” “paid entry” or “Daddy ball” teams. Represent their towns.

CT AL Baseball is still planning a 2020 season in spite of the World Series and Regional tournaments being cancelled. Stay tuned for updates on the CT 2020 season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 American Legion World Series and all 8 regional tournaments have been canceled. The awarding of American Legion Baseball scholarships for 2020 have also been suspended.
