We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of St. Joseph’s Head Coach Eddy Lemaire. Lemaire, the Cadets’ bench boss since 2016, will be thoroughly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, players and friends.

Our sincere condolences go out to the Hotchkiss family. Their patriarch, Paul, has passed away after a long battle with brain cancer. A former West Haven Blue Devil, Paul was a staple at rinks in the state. Thoughts are with his family, specifically sons Paul, Joel & Aden.

The boys are doing well! Will is hoping he can make it back for a game or two towards the end of the month or states. The family says Charlie is doing well so far and they’re prepared for ups and downs of the transplant. ❤️🖤

Update on Hamden's Craig Cesare: Craig is doing okay, likely has a concussion. As many know, this is the second time this year Cesare has sustained such an injury. The good news is, there's no spinal concern. We wish Craig and his family all the best.

Update on NDWH junior Ryan Cannon who left the NDWH/Darien game on a stretcher after an ugly hit from behind. Cannon received 10 stitches and has a bad concussion but has movement in all extremities. He's likely done for the year but considering the hit, this is great news.

Last night, the West Haven Board of Ed unanimously voted to retire former Westie Robert Fumiatti jersey # 8. Fumiatti, a 1988 state champion, was shot in the line of duty in 2002 and ultimately passed away in 2007. He'll be honored 1/10 at Bennett Rink.
