SciFi writer, Joker, keeper of the zoo, websurfer.
My following you is not an endorsement of your beliefs.

Make sure she registers as whatever she wants. Any other action is up to you. People do such strange things these days, you hardly know what to fight.
I'm reading a story where the author uses adverbs, and puts them before the verb.
Eg: "Thanks," I awkwardly said.
My way of speaking is to put the adverb after the verb.
"Thanks," I said awkwardly.
Awkwardly isn't a great use here, but what do you think for order in sentence?
Don't you hate it when you see an interesting tweet from someone you know fairly well and like, and Twitter whisks it away after you like it but before you can comment on it? And the you can never find it again?
Looks like there are more people on my timeline that I don't follow, and don't follow me, than there are who I do follow, and do follow me.
If you see me on your timeline, do we follow each other?
@HopelessOptimst
That's a terrible thing for an art teacher to say! It's unusual, it's colorful, it's creative and it's probably unique. It's art. This may be a good time to take him to an art museum where hopefully there're different kinds of art. Show him a Picasso or Jackson Pollack.
@Koksalakn
Dogs are social animals, loyal to a pack. In our world, humans are their pack. I've known cats and horses to be just as loyal and loving as dogs. I think most animals, with kind treatment, are the same.
The big trend on Twitter is to ask questions in order to raise profiles and become better known.
Some of these questions are interesting but many are similar to, "Do you still have skin?"
How do you feel about this?
My tablet keeps showing me photos of my paintings. So here's one. In acrylic. A long time ago, in a galaxy... Oops. That was Star Wars. Anyhow, now I write.

Back later. Wishing you a great day.

Instinct.
Bacteria populate a Petrie dish using up all the room and nutrients and producing waste, until they starve to death, poisoned by waste.

Religion probably aided survival of early humans by providing common ground, giving them hope, and keeping them in line. Today it seems to inflame conflict. But humans are so combative they'd find something to fight about even without religion. So strangely enough, probably no.
Often question... Can you recommend a really good book on writing?
My experience and answer... Read a thousand+ books, all genres, all kinds.
You learn to write, the rhythms, pauses, breaths, distances, through osmosis, by reading.
And then writing. Learn by doing.
This is an Oh My God! Moment. I saw a bit of colour in my plant shelves today and found this orchid, Bc. Little Marmaid 'Janet' BM/JOGA in flower. My orchids haven't been doing well since Covid, and this is a thrill.
@APoetForThePyre
It was traditional. But somehow doesn't seem to be done these days. People are on the internet, social media, isolated. Just a phase of a civilization?
@ask_aubry
People have been carjacked while gassing up their car.
If you scare a person from the back, when they're gassing up, be prepared to get a snootfull of gasoline.
@byMorganWright
Disagree. People are writing when thinking, pondering, researching, learning plot, structure, timing and dialogue from TV and movies. Even resting. The brain needs a rest to process life.
The thing that defines a writer is the end product. Even a drawerful of unpublished ms's.
Just finished an awful book. Supposed to be stand alone, wasn't. Ended in mid action. Full of typos/misspellings. If I reviewed, I'd give it a 1, be tempted to rant about how awful it was. Someone posed the question earlier, if the book's not good, do you review it? Conflicted.

@WHO
People would get as much benefit from eating their own hair or nails, as rhino horn. It's all keratin. WHO, time to give up political correctness. The rhinos don't deserve this.
Twitter was much more fun when we only saw tweets from people we followed. Though most of the unfollowers I see on my timeline are nice, interesting people, they dilute it. I suspect seeing only one's followers is a perk only blue checks get now.
But I wish EveryOne, a great day
@BgSnezana
Very odd. A set up? I hope the cat was okay. Unusual behaviour. When you see a small segment of a cute video, you don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
@LunaLuvgood2017
Horses panic. Their owners might not have had a trailer, or the horses may have been too panicked to load. Fighting a crazed 1500 pound horse onto a trailer is both dangerous and foolish. And there might have been no time. Turning them loose gave them a good chance of survival.

I never once promoted my book. Not once. It was in the pinned tweet and that was that. It feels really weird, but I'm grateful for the interest.
We celebrate the Danish Christmas here, on Christmas Eve. We did have a small tree up, but Larry wouldn't leave it alone. Larry is now where the tree used to be.
@hereforstudents
Yes it sounds reasonable! Enrollment has gone down by 110,000 students, 5.2% in the last few decades and instead of laying off teachers, Liberals increased the number of teachers by 14,000 or 12.5% Ford is trying to correct that imbalance. Unions are the only ones benefitting.
Names are always interesting to a writer.
I once knew a man named John Anger.
I once had a doctor whose last name was Lively.
You can't make this stuff up.
What are some unusual names of people you have known?

Not a strong mother. Domineering bullying father, passive mother maybe. I doubt the sons of women who chew steel bars for breakfast and spit out nails feel this way about women.
Found this little guy on the trail, 10 feet from a pond. We think it was newly hatched, from the one hole in the sand pile, and got caught and dropped by our resident blue heron.
We put him back in the water and he headed straight for the bottom.
Baby snapping turtle.
Women's Rights is one of the few political issues I tweet/retweet. I stand firmly with Pro-Choice. Men have been bossing and dominating women since humankind fell out of the trees. Constant pregnancy enables ironclad control. It's time to stop it.
