Having Cat Tuivaiti in commentary is so good. Restrained, knowledgeable, and not afraid to say it how it is. If Sky are going to persist with Eboni in commentary, she needs to listen to and learn from Cat.

My feeling is that Alicia should have kept her opinions to herself. These are friends & teammates (past, present & maybe future) whose futures she's dismissing. Other players have shown much more tact & diplomacy, but if she wants to be like this, that's her prerogative.

finals. I find it really distracting. For whose benefit is all that writing in the circles? Too small to read on TV, likely too small to read from the stands, & players too busy to read it. 🤔

season may be over, but I'm very much looking forward to hearing who has signed for which teams. I have my spreadsheet ready to be filled in! 🤣 I'd like to think Thunder will remain fairly stable - we're not a team that makes wholesale changes - consistency is key.

By now, Tonga are most people's 2nd favourite team, right? I mean what's not to like? In particular, I've been SO impressed with Veve - I've never seen her before this tournament, but she's stood out for me in every game so far. I'm assuming she's played a lot in Aus?

This happens FAR too often with listed buildings - they either go up in flames (often having stood unscathed for hundreds of years), they are left open for "squatters" to destroy them from the inside, or just left to crumble until they're deemed "dangerous"

Eboni completely misreading why people criticise JT for her substitutions - it's not that she makes too few or too many - it's that they're almost entirely wrong, appear to be made completely at random, and the subs are not given the time to adapt to playing together.

This is exactly what I feared would happen. The team did well in spite of her iffy selections, bizarre tactics, & shambolic substitutions. She's an average coach that got lucky with a great Bath side & is doing the same with ENG. IMO, she's playing the girls not improving them.

Two things: 1) Why wait until 3 days before the season opener to announce this? 2) Why are only 2 of 5 games each week being shown? Even if you only showed 2 games live & uploaded the other 3 to YouTube later, it would be a start, but this doesn't scream going professional to me.

As a Thunder fan, I have to say this is a dreadful decision. Bath have been our biggest rivals & you guys were developing some fantastic young players- results this season have not been great, but the future was so bright. This is a very painful & upsetting decision. Love to all!

- All 7 NZ players turned up & were good enough not to need replacing. Great debut for Walmsley. Not everyone turned up for ENG. SDL was poor, Elle & Hannah were totally shut down - particularly by PK & MG. Nice to see Pechova play.

My sister has Cerebral Palsy. Every couple of years, she has to fill in a form to see if she still qualifies for Disability Benefits. Our doctor is great and just signs and dates a filled photocopy of the forms. Last time they wrote on it: LIFELONG CONDITION - WILL NEVER IMPROVE.

game from this weekend (Mavs v Dragons). I must admit, I expected Mavs to run away with this, but they were a bit all over the show & Dragons more settled. I thought Passmore & Thacker did particularly well. May have to reassess my predictions!

Firstly, the level of support - that arena holds ~15000 people & it was PACKED. There's a couple of Premiership football grounds don't hold that many people. That was INSANE - especially with so many of them wearing green too - it was quite a sight to see & they were SO LOUD! 2/

Largely agree with these pics. I'm not sold on Lois as a WA option - she's a good GA, but I think there's better options. I'd choose Berri Neil - similar shooting volume, better completion percentage, and better at WA.

Not good enough today, but the girls never gave up trying. Enjoyed seeing Elmerè at GA - she did some good work in the middle of the court, and Lois was impressive at WA. I've said it before & I'll say it again, it's criminal that Elia is only a TP! She is SO good!

players are in, as at least we could then make educated guesses about teams' 2025 rosters. I fear Thunder particularly will be unable to keep all their stars. I'd like to see us promote TPs before recruiting from outside the club if possible

Manchester Thunder have done - it's not exactly up to the same standard - just one camera up in the stands on the halfway line that someone tries to follow the action with, but it's *something* - especially as Sky cba to even stream every league game!

I thought the match itself was great. Glasgow was just something else - the way she was able to draw the defenders out time after time to free up Fowler was exceptional. If she can be that good for England, it'll be hard to keep her out of the team, but 🤡 will find a way to 6/

Why Samason wasn't brought on for every PP, I don't know. Could have been predictable, but what the alternative didn't work. Fowler & Glasgow could shoot whenever wherever almost unchallenged. Overall, a really exciting game! /END

Players like Rahni Samason, Olivia Lewis, Alice Teague-Neeld, & Verity Simmons (who I was shocked to hear had retired at the end of last season). As well as players I knew a bit about but wasn't super familiar with. The level was just on another level, to be honest. 5/

Speaking of Emmas, I really love Emma Rayner. She's such a feisty little WA & has clearly been learning so much from Nat. I really hope she gets a contract next year. I was surprised not to see EvdB & Paige today. Maybe they'll play tomorrow...
