Unpopular opinion but Metcalf hasn’t been doing it for me recently. Whether it’s the captaincy, basically being the only WA used and playing every minute or being largely unchallenged across the NSL season I don’t know but I feel a bit meh 😒

AMAZING NEWS 🙌🏼 I will put aside my disappointment (for now) that there will be no NSL in Scotland for the foreseeable future and I will plan to set-up camp at the Glasgow CWG 2026 to make up for it 🤩

Rattu is one of the few positives I’m taking away from this weekend. Solid minutes on court with definite impact, despite limited court time for the Roses & never before against Aus I don’t think? Can’t wait to see her get solid court time this NSL season 🙌🏼

I know there was already speculation that Geva might not get an SSN contract & would probably look elsewhere but her actively choosing to come back to the NSL is HUGE not only for her, but for the NSL & for all aspects of netball in the UK. Can’t wait to see where she ends up 🙌🏼

It just occurred to me that not once during the 🌹losses to 🇦🇺 or 🇳🇿did I wish there was a SS to get them back in the game/win it. 🇯🇲 coming back from 6 down to beat 🇦🇺 was SO much more exciting, skilful & edge of your seat stuff than 3 long range shots. Traditional netty ftw 👏🏼
