The issue isn't the treaties - it's that growing political instability, which will get worse due to climate change, plus growing populations in most developing countries, is going to continue to drive high levels of migration to Europe. No law or treaty will change that.

Hi Tom. The reason Birmingham is failing economically is because it increasingly has the demographics of Azad Kashmir which has a GDP per capita of £1,500 a year. Happy to help.
I wrote this in 2016 when I lived in Birmingham on why I thought it had failed economically. Stands up okay I think. I've only been back a few times. It is, astonishingly given it's only 90 miles away, pretty awful to get to from Leeds.
