i genuinely think everyone must read haikyuu at least once in their lifetime. it’s not just a volleyball manga, but at its core, a beautiful love letter to life and the human experience.
this clip is too funny. tsukishima’s proud stance, yamaguchi praising the hell out of him, kageyama 5 seconds away from jumping tsukishima, hinata losing it on the floor
I have this hc that Kageyama always tells Yamaguchi “you can do better” when he sees him with tsukki, it’s not jealousy or something like that, he literally just thinks Yamaguchi could do better
tsukishima you “this is just a club” faker i saw you frantically shouting advice and knowledge to your teammates when you got pulled out of the kamomedai match
@cixeyes
Kageyama hated hinata and doesnt want to set hinata at the behinning either. Are you fr? Did you guys forget this key dynamic? Even if hinata was fast, he doesnt want until one key moment when he think hinata can spike the ball? Damn please reread maybe?
the haikyuu fandom during 2020 was corny yeah but i think the worst thing was most characters getting such bad portrayals like why were people making kuroo to be a fuckboy
what hurts me the most is that shoyo couldn’t be with the og karasuno in their last moments as an “official” team. the last game ended without him. suga, daichi and asahi left the court without him
furudate is amazing at writing backstories. we don’t even get kageyama’s backstory until chp 387 but it doesn’t feel out of place, just puts a much fleshed out perspective on his character.
i love it every time we get a reminder that daichi is a teenager after all and he has his own fears and demons bc he acts SO MUCH like an adult and dad to these kids that we often forget about his own insecurities
my favourite thing about bokuto is his unending optimism and his ability to inspire others, i have read comments by people saying he isn’t fit to be captain because of his mood swings, but imo he’s perfect they just don’t get his character !!!! he’s born to lead 💕
msby vs adlers is just so good. so fucking good. so much peak hinata moments. it’s an accumulation of all the trials and tribulations he went through. everyone he met along the way helped him get to this level. and we see all that paid off. Hinata shoyo you moved everyone
what's your favorite "media literacy check". like a character or event that, depending on someone's opinion on it, shows if they can be trusted interpreting media.
im probably saying bullshit rn but something about them being closer and it signifying an ignited partnership and always finding a way back to each other or something whatever KAGEHINA
when kagehina blocked the miya twins’ minus tempo attack because they know better than anyone how fast it really is, earning them the winning point. How could you not say Peak
