Truly a time capsule of a movie in that you can only enjoy watching it if you watched it when it came out. For me it was that I was 12 and didn't have critical thinking skills yet, so the movie still somehow elicits a feeling of comfort even though it's objectively terrible

what if yr a designer and you come up w 3-5 good options for a cover but by the time ed/sales are done with it you're left with one that's a ghost of your original design & then the author sees it & sends back something they made in canva for you to use as "inspiration"
What if you wrote an entire book and queried in these terrible times and finally got an agent and went out on a long sub and eventually got a great book deal then your cover just SUCKS

I think the biggest issue with early education in this country is that we are taught about racism and sexism ONLY in history class. We’re taught that these “were” things that “used to” exist, but now they’ve been corrected, and now everyone is equal and everything is great.
