When Downtown streets look like this, my commute looks like that. It’s downtown’s busiest weekend of the year, yet our metromover passes through our state’s densest neighborhoods and doesn’t have peak fares. It’s free all year long.

Historic Districts should not exist. Architecturally important structures should be saved, and if the locality cares so much about the property, they should buy it themself. Your aesthetic preferences aren't more important than people's right to live in the present.

“The trains fit. Yay!” Commish @RaquelRegalado , chair of the Tri-Rail board, updating commissioners on the agency remaining on track for opening the downtown Miami station. Service supposed to start later this year or in early 24.

Whether it’s our abuelos or abuelas waiting for the 8 or 11 in Little Havana, FIU students waiting for the 107 or 24, or Downtowners itching to visit Miami Beach on the S or 120: more frequent, reliable transit is for everyone.

The #BetterBusNetwork will get more transit to more people. Period. We asked the @MiamiDadeBCC to support transit improvements today at the Transportation, Mobility and Planning committee.

They’re even extending metromover and metrorail hours until 2AM today and tomorrow to support Ultra! Thanks @IRideMDT

This conversation is muted because the “muh car” folks have found this and gotten butthurt. I also need to sleep. Good night!

When local media covers local issues and people start to care, things get done. What if we extended this to the rest of Miami’s public sector issues 🤔

12 Mins from parking, I’m already on the orange line to MIA at Overtown station. Almost zero wait for the mover or rail. 👍

That's me! We're finally moving toward completion on our county's first urban, protected bicycle network. More people will be able to bike safely to work, errands, or for fun to ride around our Magic City safely.

What a great day! Pic from demo ride of the Downtown Mobility Network this morning. Still a few months off from full completion and planter protection, but still a momentous step forward for @MiamiDadeCounty and @CityofMiami to create a safe, protected place for all riders.

Almost $700,000 per single-story single-family home? That’s a waste of taxpayer dollars. Subsidizing suburbia needs to stop.

Miami is spending $4.1m on six homes, to be sold at a loss. Is this good affordable housing policy? (via @TooMuchMe )

I think it’s funny all the people who say I must not know the rest of Miami-Dade County exists, here’s me fighting against FDOT killing metrorail on Kendall Dr. Every meeting I spoke at, I was the only one speaking out for Kendall transit expansion. Every. Single. One.

(1/2) Miami-Dade residents won’t stand for FDOT’s continued bait-and-switches. BRT without dedicated lanes isn’t BRT. Buses stuck in traffic don’t get people out of here cars. Period. Have your voice heard tomorrow at 2PM when this goes to the TPO.

Brickell Loop and inner loop are now out. Urban core residents are just supposed to accept this total breakdown of rapid transit service with no end in sight.
