Property tax is what you pay to be a part of society, they pay for trash and EMS, schools and libraries.
I’m 30 years old & I can’t grasp property taxes. So like even if the house is paid off in full…the government still owns the plot of land that the house is on? LMAO🤣🥴

Two options for Boston:
1—South Station Expansion: $4b cost, $7b in benefits/20 yrs. +6m transit trips/yr
2—N–S Rail Link: $7.9b cost, $30b in benefits. + 86m transit trips/yr
One option would reinforce status quo commuter rail system. The other would transform regional mobility
