The RFD project plans to fell thousands of trees and dump debris into the river Mula at the Ram-Mula confluence, endangering the beautiful sacred groves! Expenditure wasted on a trip to Geneva !! @moefcc how about a study on the sources of (SEVERE) pollution in our cities, endless cutting of trees, until even 'garden city' Bangalore now has no water. Stop wasting tax payers money.
Indian delegation participated in the 78th meeting of the standing committee of CITES at Geneva, Switzerland. An array of topics including, Asian big cats, Asian elephants and conservation of various CITES listed species were discussed. #Cheetah conservation efforts taken up by India was showcased during the side event in collaboration with Cheetah Conservation Foundation and International Big Cat Alliance. @IBCA_official

reposting this : Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in 2010 said then “From the time I’ve been chairman I’ve been very clear about the need to improve the relationship with Pakistan, re-establish the trust that was broken in the 1990s - “In the Afghanistan-Pakistan strategy, none of us have been anything but very forthcoming on the criticality of Pakistan. We can’t get at the safe havens that we know exist in Pakistan without their cooperation,”. This strategy is probably going to come back soon ( not sure if it ever died though)
