I think anyone who is hesitant about congestion pricing because it may impact working people should think about who are the 1.4% of people in Rep. Walker's Brownsville district that she is siding with against the 93% that take public transit and why.
1.4% of Assembly Rep. Walker's constituents would have had to pay the congestion pricing fee. Just 7% of Manhattan CBD commuters in her district drive while 93% take transit. The overwhelming majority of households in her district don't even own cars.
