@jwcodesometimes First time you hold them you realize that so many thing aren’t as important as you thought. It’s one of those things where no matter how well someone tells you what it’ll be like there is no way to feel prepared for that feeling. Congrats Jesse!

RT @mattyglesias: The idea that identifying the people who run the government should be a firing offense does not make a lot of sense to me…

@xmetal_godx @mcuban 1) you probably wouldn’t put someone with as bad of a record as Trump in charge 2) the government isn’t a company, trying to equate them is absurd. Are there inefficiencies? Absolutely but the government is not a profit making entity.

Didn’t have @BenStiller on @BulwarkOnline’s podcast on my 2025 bingo card. Was a great episode. The banter with him and @Timodc about NBA was awesome and I’m more of an MLB guy

@YIMBYLAND Do you need to hate someone to think some random person without any oversight and accountability has access to sensitive data, payment information etc is bad? I’d say no. But if you do, then yeah sure I hate him

@cashbeking @circlerotator @jasongordo626 @typesfast Is this a serious question? I mean this in good faith because I can’t tell if you’re trolling. There is TONS of stuff the U.S. doesn’t make at all and unless tariffs are 500%, never will due to financial realities (mostly labor)

@GregAbbott_TX @W_0_0_F_Y Sure, but the shirts aren’t largely not made here. The tariff is on the good that is imported and the cost of the cotton is a fraction of the cost of the shirt

@typesfast Shit not enough time to order some random stuff off aliexpress I need that I can’t find in the U.S. (specific rubber feet sizes for electronics)

@flyobx @AlexHollings52 They were designed to be *cheap* and “disposable” compared the the F15. It’s like saying a 911 is disposable because you own a McLaren F1.

@conorjrogers Why does he always say shit like “most people don’t know about it”. Fucking everyone knows about Guantanamo bay lol. It feels like he has to tell himself that he has special knowledge so he feels better or something. I don’t know but it’s so weird

@ajlamesa @ezraklein Right or wrong the U.S. still has immense gravitational pull. Not just economically or militarily but culturally. E.U. is dealing with right wing populism too. Not to mention wars, a slowing economy across much of the Union etc. plus climate and tech are worldwide issues.

@PramilaJayapal This is almost certainly a franchisee. This is a shitty example for your point
