@SBakerMD False, typically a low budget cow is fed with grains to an amount of 35% the rest be cheap grass.

Grain feed cattle an unhealthy omega 3/6 ratio around 9:1 instead 2:1 for grass feed cattle. Avoiding seed oils, and eating grain feed cattle, makes really no sense. There is no reason that unnaturally overfeed cattle with grains (corn) to get cheap meat and fat would produce better results, than directly feed a human with grains.

@connorsings92 @lowcarbGP @SBakerMD @rcgp @DoctorTro @nicknorwitz @drjamesdinic @KenDBerryMD @bigfatsurprise @PHCukorg @zoeharcombe @lowcarb_aus It's definitively not true. It is an independent risk factor. What certainly don't mean 100% risk.

@DrEenfeldt @KetoCarnivore @raphaels7 @richcollins In other words for each Kcal more in protein you eat 3 Kcal less in carbs.

@MdBreathe @CincyChildrens They accept to let this girl die, for safety reasons, which concerns only this girl. It is an interesting concept of patient safety. It is playing with the life of a children, for what?

@charliekirk11 Knowing only persons who represent 0.4% of the population denotes a certain bias, and problem.

@lowcarbGP Interestingly, i see the same on myself. Blood pressure going without treatment from 155mmHg to 120mmHg with low-carb. But the HOMA was at 1.4, definitively no insulin resistance.

NO. SGLT-2 inhibitors leads to nearly no weight loss and are not very good as anti-diabetics. They work on AMPK for example and have other clearly unknown mechanism. The same is for GLP1 agonists, where they have effects going further than the simple weight loss. The affirmation low-carb is way better is a scientific bullshit from somebody who think he found his miracle snake-oil which heal everything. As an MD, he should know that in medicine there is no one solution fitting everything, and that this kind of thinking is the hallmark of a quack. By the way, there is exactly ZERO comparative study undermining his mouthful thinking. Low carb, GLP1, SGLT2 have all their place and very often at the same time. As a cardiologist, i would say somebody to go to hell if he tells one of my patient with heart failure and conserved EF to stop his SGLT2 antagonists and go low carb instead.

@SamaHoole So you brilliantly think what is unhealthy for you will produce healthy fat in animals. It is clearly not the case, even if the humans since long fattened his animals with grains.
