When I was in middle school, our church minister’s wife ran off with another woman. This happened in the early 70s in WV, so it was very hard for everyone to understand. I was just a kid; now I realize how brave they both were.

I actually realized this after my 18 year old cat passed. She kept a healthy distance from people she didn’t like or trust. I adopted that life rule and have been happier. I’m cordial and move on.

Ah, I live just south in St Johns County. A few facts. The mayor is in DeSantis’ inner circle. The police can be bought like chips in a vending machine (piggy back to that-current murder capital of FL.). Basically, it’s a small, racist southern town dressed as a fair sized city.
