not even close to correct. Service ceiling of a jet is set by manufacturer and approved by FAA. NB jets do not as a rule “ cruise at lower altitudes “ compared to a WB. It all depends on weight, distance , weather, etc. FYI …

33 years ago tonite I watched as the Nightly News announced the death of an American Hero, LT JG John P. Connors USN and his 3 SEAL teammates. Say his name and he is Not Forgotten.
Many Months from now we will honor John with a statue in Scituate MA by a renowned sculptor. LLTB

That’s after 20+ years with luck ( no mergers no FAA Rule changes no pandemics no 9/11 type attacks ). It’s a great career but Mr Kirby is not telling the “ whole story”. He’s not a pilot although a USAFA graduate and hasn’t lived through the 10 year sine wave etc....IMHO. 1/2
