We did it! Our first @globalairlines transatlantic a380 flight and I could not be more proud of everyone involved to make this truly historical feat happen. This was our aircraft blasting out of the Mojave on its multi-leg trip. This was meant to be impossible, but what a super-human group of people who have a burning passion to make aviation better. Thank you to warriors and the best crew I could have ever dreamed of @hifly_airline. Also a huge thanks to @Airbus and their total dedication to safety and the countless hours to make this flight happen. To @MojaveAirport and @GPAPassenger for being the best hosts possible. Thank you to the @FAANews and #BCA for returning our aircraft to service. There are many others I will mention over the coming days, but for now, my main feeling remains determination. It’s a big day at @globalairlines - we have taken full 100% ownership of MSN120 and registered the aircraft. Buying an aircraft outright with no debt, no lease and no financing is no small task, and one that our team have done a fantastic job to bring over the line. We set out at Global to do things differently, and build strong foundations to operating an airline. Some things take a little longer to do when you have full asset ownership, but we are convinced this will set Global up well in the long run. A very proud day, and well done to the team at Global.
