I was a member of Unison...no help when need. Three of us were told we could sign the new contract and work or not sign and not work. I believe in the workers having organised protection of interests but unions here at the moment are just a political mafia!

I was a woman who couldn’t use cheap tampons....or any tampons. The only thing that mopped it all up was a expensive pad sometimes ten a day. I didn’t always have the money and sometimes had to choose between feeding us or taking care of personal hygiene. She should try it!

The disappearance of pensions in this country needs an external investigation. People contribute for years then are told there is nothing left when a company folds. Workers should be a priority. This is what unions should be fighting for not for political glory.
