52 years today we arrived on Islay for a new life full of hope & anticipation with no idea where it would lead😳.Some great stuff & some not so great but glad to have brought our 3 children up in this amazing countryside & mostly caring community.(Still got a Manchester accent🤣).

My mum would’ve been 115 today she only managed 91 years😊. a nurse and midwife in 1930s before antibiotics and the NHS .I’d forgotten how lovely she was even before I knew her. she always had grey hair to me and was the original feisty woman 💃Happy days ❤️
