I'm like a broken record on this, but there is absolutely no reason why the government cannot comment on a *civil* case. There's no jury, no risk of prejudice, they've already thrown a kitchen sink full of arguments at the court and there'd be no harm in reiterating them publicly.

While it was hugely disappointing to see the St Giles Centre close, it's encouraging that many of the businesses are committed to staying in Elgin. This will be welcome news for those who faced losing their jobs through no fault of their own.

Today marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. We must never forget the atrocities of the Holocaust and the six million Jews murdered.
Never again can the horrors of the Holocaust be allowed to take place. This #HolocaustMemorialDay we recommit ourselves to remembering those who were killed and rooting out antisemitism wherever it is found.
