It is with heavy heart that I announce the terrible news that the brother of my trainee Dr. Shadi Tarazi @Shadi_Tarazi, was killed yesterday in Gaza by an air bombardment of his church in Gaza in which he took refuge with other civilians. My heart goes out to Shadi & his family.

RANT alert: if you intend to publish a preprint without the methods section, might as well not preprint at all ! Otherwise what’s the point ? Methods section is always integral to understand how the experiments were actually done which is essential to evaluating the claims made.

The reality of near 2 million palestinians in Gaza searching desperately for food EVERYDAY while not having a proper roof above their head for over THREE winter months, is even worse than the Israeli bombardments and being buried under the rubble. Try for a second to imagine.
Though it has sent some reservists home, Israel insists there are long months of fighting in Gaza ahead. If it does not do more to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid it will push the territory into a man-made famine 👇.
