Our new work is out today! Long time in the oven, this has been a really fun and informative collaboration led by Dhanur Iyer in my lab and
@HK_Heidar
from
@NRivron
lab. We show that human embryonic cells have an inherent potential to regulate their developmental timing.
Our PhD call is open. If you have a strong passion for developmental biology or epigenetics, or better, developmental epigenetics, then apply to our lab!
Grateful to ERC for supporting our lab’s science! My team and I will use the hard-earned 💶 to crack the (epi)genetic code of dormancy.
If you are interested to work with us (with a big emphasis on ‘with’ not ‘for’) get in touch! I have several positions.

Happy to announce the new preprint from the lab! Here we ask whether human stem cells and embryo models have the capacity to undergo dormancy under mTOR inhibition. And the answer is 🥁🥁 yes!
