First principals. Domain squatters offer nothing of value, actually are a net negative impact wise, and is a light form of theft. Like ticket resellers buying all the tickets to your favorite concert and reselling at 3x prices. You can do it and it’s legal, but it’s immoral

Ehh... holding on to land and doing "nothing" with it is actually still somewhat of a benefit. Basically your land is natural reserve which contributes value to our environment. Holding a domain and doing nothing with it contributes no value to anyone not even yourself.

Missed my point. I'll try again. Holding land cannot be "doing nothing" in the same way that holding a domain is doing nothing. Holding land and not doing something with it essential just allows the wild life to flourish - which is a valuable good thing.
