I did 2 years of ivf treatment, multiple retrievals, multiple procedures. Not one single pain med, not one single sedative. It hurts a lot. It’s real.

While watching the screen, as they harvested eggs, my husband fainted. They left the large needle inside me, to take care of him. He was fine btw. The world of gynaecology is generally inhumane.

Librarians are the best! Library’s fill so many gaps in society, that people usually have no idea they do. My SIL often speaks about all the things happening at her library and I am amazed at how awesome they truly are :)

I agree completely with that statement but as a tech, that isn’t our lane. There are steps with systematic checks and balances, and the tech or “assistant” should have no input. If the pharmacist sees an interaction they need to intervene, however not with religion or judgment

The crazy part is, in Canada, my private drug coverage wouldn’t cover it for my ivf treatments simply because I was female. I appealed it multiple times as I worked in pharmacy at the time, but to no avail.

We went with the honour method, we priced everything, and had coffee cans on each table. It worked amazingly well and you didn’t have haggle with anyone. We maybe lost out on $10…not dealing with people early on Saturday priceless

It’s invisible so no one will take us seriously. I’ve been in a state of constant migraine since April 02. It hasn’t gone away, I’ve had scans, we’ve tried every drug. It’s debilitating and defeating all at the same time. I am grateful that it has been just over 6 weeks since
