Three years ago this week, I suffered a STEMI (Heart attack) at home. Ambulance arrived in four mins, within an hour, I was in New Cross Hospital, Heart and Lung Dept having 2 stent fitted. Thank you seems inadequate. But thank you.

4years ago yesterday I had a heart attack, ambulance arrived within 5 mins, 1 hour later having 2 stents fitted in New Cross Hospital. 2 weeks later diagnosed with bowel cancer, operation in April, now all clear. Thank you NHS 💙

In 2017 I had a heart attack, within 1 hour I was having stents fitted. 3 weeks later I was diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer, totally unconnected. Operated on, cancer gone, stoma gone. Thank you NHS, You saved my life TWICE.
