I definitely agree on the obsession. I can't read enough naturist themed books, both fiction and non-fiction. We are blessed with an ever burgeoning team of great naturist writers and we are fortunate to be able to connect with many of them here as a bonus.

Thoughtful & thought provoking as always Jeff. I like the term 'cultural nudity' because it has a clean and mature ring that might be less controversial than nudism/naturism. It's a good 'big-tent' term as Will aptly put it. Sounds good to say "I embrace social nudity".

Shouldn't be 1 size fits all. Unfortunately, reality is nudists are represented by a similar cross section of belief systems as rest of society except for the propensity for not wearing clothes. Looking for compatible friends among nudists is no different than any other group.

The notion that naturists are generally more open minded and accepting than the general population is wishful thinking and unhappily misleading. Nudists are simply a cross section of society who just happen to prefer going clothes-free. Acceptance is also optional, apparently!

I think we need to be careful not to over think all this. Respect, mutual understanding, broad mindedness and simple good manners and behaviour are what matters. Belief systems that don't work with that just won't fit irrespective of what we're wearing.

Indeed! Those jewels are safest away from violent collisions with bike seats or anything else posing a threat to future generations 😀🤭 Even ridges and gaps on sealed paths warrant standing up as it becomes uncomfortable at the very least even with suspension.

14C is probably a bearable bare temperature while active but around 18C is generally my lowest limit.
