@Emmys it's pretty interesting, and sometimes horrifying, to learn how many common words we use today basically originated as terms for groups of outsiders in ancient regional conflicts (barbarians for anyone who didn't speak Latin, slave potentially sharing a root with Slav)

honestly this is way funnier but I can see why The Godfather might read better for wide audiences
Since this has been trending, here’s a fun fact: “It insists upon itself” was a criticism my college film history professor used to explain why he didn’t think “The Sound of Music” was a great film. First-rate teacher, but I never quite followed that one.
