A now typical Poole Harbour scene from this AM, a cruising sail boat slowly ambling past a pair of White-tailed Eagles. @timmackrill @DorsetBirdClub @SeaEagleEngland @BCPCouncil @ChrisGPackham @MeganMcCubbin

Beavers now in Little Sea, Studland, Ospreys nesting here & White-tailed Eagles (hopefully) soon to be. Large landscape scale nature recovery projects in Purbeck & the RSPB Arne Moors wetland creation. Rewilded landscapes now underway. The next decade could be very interesting.

Not been much on the Osprey nest platforms this winter, so this gorgeous adult Peregrine on the Middlebere nest was a welcome site this morning @DorsetBirdClub

Busy ringing demo this evening. Not a long session as rain came in but 5 Woodcock, 3 Jack Snipe, 1 Common Snipe, 1 Meadow Pipit & 1 Redwing in 1.5 hours wasn’t too bad. Great team work with Stour Ringing Group. Jack Snipe (left), Woodcock (centre), Snipe (right) @DorsetBirdClub

Just brilliant to be featured live on @BBCBreakfast this morning, with @LivCooper23 talking about the first Osprey breeding attempt in nearly 200 years on the South Coast. Great to have the opportunity to share this momentous story. @DorsetBirdClub @ChrisGPackham @OspreyEurope

Very pleased the Birds of Poole Harbour team are in London today supporting the Restore Nature Now March. Great to watch 3 Peregrines flying overhead while we ask the incumbent government to restore nature! @RNNMarch @ChrisGPackham @MeganMcCubbin

First fish of the season for male Osprey 022, a decent sized Flounder. Sounds like the un-ringed bird from this AM went fishing in Lytchett Bay. @DorsetBirdClub @timmackrill @RoyDennisWF

Interesting photo from one of our trail cams this afternoon, with male 022 on a different harbour nest platform with what we think was the Osprey we saw from this AMs trip. He was soon back at his nest site with CJ7 delivering her fish after this @DorsetBirdClub @timmackrill

The oldest Osprey chicks are already 2 weeks old, and all three are rapidly losing their downy feathers, now showing pin feathers that will develop into their full juvenile plumage. @DorsetBirdClub @BBCSpringwatch @timmackrill @MeganMcCubbin @ChrisGPackham
