Fantastic work tonight at Cranborne. Despite damage to thatched roof, firefighters successfully avoided significant fire damage to the rest of the property and worked hard to salvage all of the owners possessions! Scaling down attendance in next hour or so. Great Job 👍

We're still tackling the heath fire at #Ferndown - please, please avoid the area, we've already had access issues this morning where dog walkers etc have parked up. We need clear access & not to have to worry about bystanders! Thank you

#LatestNews 1/2 We have been called to reports that more than 300 cars have ignored the council’s no parking signs in Ferry Road, Studland. The restrictions are in place because the water hose is running along the road to allow firefighters to deal with the large heath fire there

It's not just England's footballers who are heroes, our epic @DWFireControl are crazy busy at the moment as there are multiple incidents on-going. Please, please, please take extra care in this hot weather, it's far too easy for fires to start when it's so dry!

The Almondsbury crew assisted @DWFireRescue & @dorsetpolice with a number of fires across the region, including the Swanage & Pimperne areas. We provided live footage to the control room and were able to take the Fire Commander up to allow them to best utilise their crews. ^DF
