If a flock of Goldfinch are a charm what about a flowering of teasel?
The teasel belongs to a genus of tall, biennial plants which can reach the height of a person and probably best-known for the brown, prickly stems and conical seed heads, which persist long after the plants have died back for the winter.

Always a surprise in the moth trap! Anyone noticed them ?
The UK’s largest chafer is the Common Cockchafer (Melolontha melolontha) whose adult form of a beetle appears drunk whilst flying and makes a buzzing noise. This may all seem alarming, but they are harmless!
