How about this, my grandad served in the army and then worked as a garbage truck/ambulance driver. He, whilst opposed to the people's Republic for ideological reasons, admits that life wasn't bad and generally alright. It was better in some ways and worse in others.

The view shared is that communism is a negative thing, which my grandad agrees with. The thing is though is that if pressed most people that genuinely lived under communism will admit that life wasn't bad. That some things were better and some things were worse.

Fascism doesn't ascribe itself a framework though. It changes to fit the current movements. For example the Nazis, falangists, and Italian classical fascists all have large differences between one another. This leads to its class relations and reactionary nature the only constant
