this is the same for me. iOS was just well optimized, I guess. With all that said, I can’t go out of my way to use Low Power Mode on my iPhone 15 Pro Max or use an iPhone without ProMotion display. Everything just appears too stutter-y.

probably because the effect wasn’t as pronounced. it’s worth remembering that the CPU in the 4s was 2x faster and the GPU was an astounding 9x faster than the one found on the iPhone 4. the CPU, GPU, and ISP work hand in hand to deliver a computationally processed photo.
