You should not be allowed to have animals if you do not understand their behavior.
Not even just with roosters, you should never leave a child unattended around ANY animal. Cat, dog, goat, anything. Animals are animals, regardless of how well trained they are.

I have 25 chickens in 8 different pens. All the same species with similar needs, I devote all my spare time to them and yet I still feel like care tasks slip through the cracks. There’s no way all those different species are getting the proper care that they need and DESERVE.

Sure she can do whatever she wants to her flock but roosters are inherently aggressive and if she doesn’t want aggression then she should have roosters. And even if you’re raising chickens for meat, doesn’t mean it’s okay to “drop kick them across the yard”

I have two roosters that are very aggressive and people constantly tell me to cull them.
But I got these boys and they’re my responsibility to care for. By getting a rooster you inherently accept the risk that they could be aggressive.

i’m genuinely curious where you’re getting your information from because the US department of agriculture absolutely recommends to cull infected and even just exposed birds and it’s kinda their jurisdiction when it comes to livestock the tracing and elimination of HPAI
