I completely agree, people who criticise progress have never really experienced what it is to live without it.
AI can do more for humanity in creating a utopian world and world of abundance. I grew up in India and I saw people without homes, no access to medical care, no access to transportation.

I’m not a fan of most things Meta does, but without a doubt the work

OpenAI is purely a for profit company owned (partly) by a non-profit, like most truly large

It’s a hard habit to shake if you’re brought up in it and surrounded by it growing up. Everyone wants the 1st rank, the good job, money, success, fame etc.
It leads to zero sum thinking, which is the true killer of innovation and growth as
