Nobody wants to admit that rugby is a TV sport that is fairly dull in person. Of course people are going to the bar! The ball is only in play less than half the time
I love going to rugby internationals - very lucky to be able to get and afford tickets - but this doesn’t happen at Croke Park or Thomond Park where people can watch a game without needing to go in and out like jack in the boxes to get drink. Loads of time before and after game
