We all have dates that are special for us. Birthdays, anniversaries, etc. April 17 is the date of my last chemo treatment from Large B-cell lymphoma. Today I am 3 yrs cancer free! Picture is from that day celebrating with Pat at York Tavern.

I just realized it’s April 17th, an important day in my life. That’s the date 5 years ago I had my last chemo session, after recovering from large B cell lymphoma. Celebrated at York Tavern & have been healthy ever since.

My lovely wife Patricia had many loves. One of them was The Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove. We’re setting up a scholarship/Memorial fund at the school in Pat’s name. Donations can be made to the school under her name or to me til it is all officially worked out. Thanks!

Pat loved helping people, especially young people, reach their goals and become the person they wanted to be. She loved her fellow counselors, social workers and everyone at HCHS, including all the maintenance and cleaning people that helped keep her safe on those late nights.
