I played 16" softball sometimes 6 nights a week in my 20s! Love this game; as a pitcher you could spin it, as a 3B you took linedrives off your fingers - jammed so many its no wonder I have arthritis in my fingers! ... Wouldn't change a thing, huge part of growing up in Chicago
This is a 16 inch softball also known as a "clincher". Many broken and crooked fingers have been sutained from this great game originated here in Chicago.
