A few years ago when I lived in America I was walking with one of my friends after school in the downtown china town area and a drug addict was following us. We went to ask for help from a nearby shop and everyone looked away and no one wanted to help us.

We have schools for young children, madrassa for any age, tutors, girls in online courses, and same with medical institutions here. I've seen women working here: at the airport, some shops, and even government related jobs like the tazkira office. Don't discredit what we have.

A while ago I went to a hospital and asked a nurse working there how she got her education/ cert and if women had opportunities.She told me there were many private institutes for women to study at.And told me there were many for nursing, midwifery, dentistry, ect.

I had a Polish family friend who converted and married an Arab.After things didn't work out and he divorced her, he went back to his old ways before he converted.He settled down with a Christian woman and hasn't been practicing since. It's been years now, may Allah guide him back

This is scary because every one of my relatives owns the same type of pressure cooker ☠️ . Just informed one of them and she refused to throw it out.
Another thing is the fact that these "felizkar" and "ahhangar" (metal workers) melt down metal tins and other scrap metal and make things like cheap bukharis (burners) with them!
My family bought one and immediately when they lit it up the whole house smelled of terrible fumes.

You can't sever ties and have to hold relations with relatives. It doesn't mean you have to go to their house or invite them to yours, you can keep relations just by saying salam on the phone and keeping interaction minimal.

I'm so glad these courses are open for young women,back in the west we had useless classes in HS/Ms and years wasted until we finally got into college/uni year. I know girls younger than me enrolled in the midwifery classes and الحمد لله it's great to see them learning earlier on

One of my relatives wife couldn't have kids so he married a second wife. The second wife had 6-8 kids and الحمدلله his first ended up giving birth to 3 kids. He treated both his wives fairly. If he bought one a gold set or gift the other one also received one.

I understand it's important for women to have a dedicated skin care routine but imagine how much dead skin you have underneath those layers of product? Focus on steaming and exfoliating, then using oil and minimal product that is good for the skin and not aging you decades older.

One thing that motivates me to be busy and spend less time scrolling is checking my screen time everyday. Went from 8+ hours average to now 5. The entire day I've used my phone for only 2.5 hours and felt more productive reading the Quran, and studying.

I remember when my wisdom teeth first came through, the dentist said I needed to have all of them removed. 1-2 years later I went to another dentist and she told me I don't have to remove all of them except the impacted one. It just shows everyone has their own agenda.

Yesterday I worked Christmas eve, and treated it like any other day. I didn't wish anyone anything, all I said was I hope you have a good day. Alhamdulilah I don't celebrate non Islamic holidays anymore.
It's that time of the year where many unfortunately don't understand their religion aswell as the religion of the non muslims.
Muslims fall into the trap of celebrating or wishing their colleagues and associates "Merry Christmas".

I don't know from what I've heard most of the Afghan women I knew were quick to remarry or leave their spouses.I don't think we should get into the business of others who choose to marry outside their ethnic groups. What matters is whether their spouse is a pious Muslim.
