@RAMoulds Depends! If it’s in a manuscript book as this is then it stays there. But sometimes the process involves sellotape

@amwilson_opera @sgtoyne In F, you sing 2 Cs per verse and the rest of the carol is in a comfortable key for most people. In G, there are 6 Es and most of the carol sits across the break for the average person

@nicomuhly If you really want crazy, ask the church-going people of Dublin about the version of Hark the Herald sung at St Patrick’s Cathedral to the tune of Judas Maccabaeus with added trumpet fanfares between the verses

This is such a fantastic album. Go listen!
We were so excited to celebrate the release of our new album ‘Chamber Music by James Joyce Vol. I’ last night at the UCD Alumni Awards ✨ We performed 3 songs from the album, one of which was written by a former choral scholar @owenbrady9. Many thanks to @UCDALUMNI for having us!

Please support this fantastic initiative from @rebeccajlea — a beautiful collection of music for winter, including the premiere recording of the Voice and Piano version of my “The Darkest Midnight”
Morning! If anybody fancied supporting The New Winter Songbook, a little project I am curating and running in 2025, then here is the link: I'd be so grateful if you were able to help me get this over the line!
