IRIA (association of radiologists) was promoting routine (rampant) use of CT and talked of problems with PCR.
Actually IRIA was defending buisness, not science.
CT certainly may have a role in subset. It may have false positives but certainly will have false negatives
Systematic review by our group suggests that NUDT15 polymorphisms are a more frequent cause of thiopurine induced leukopenia than TPMT in South Asian populations

A lot of propaganda done by self-styled 'scientists' against COVAXIN initially and now against COVISHIELD.
Facts
1) Any vaccine is better than no vaccine
2) In this wave, time and again the two vaccines have proven efficaceous against severe disease

I think the trend towards EUS guided liver biopsy is being driven, not by evidence, but the superstars of endoscopy actively promoting it.
EBM of a different kind - eminence based medicine
This trial should settle the debate now!
👉🏻Percutaneous liver biopsy
✅ Adequate specimen
✅ Equal patient satisfaction
✅ Similar safety to EUS guided biopsy
✅ Significantly low cost as compared to EUS LB

Positioning of Tofacitinib in India is not clear but it is being prescribed in biologic naive groups because of low cost. Though cheap, it is not risk free. Here is a report of Tubercular Pleural effusion related to Tofacitinib use in ulcerative colitis
