Pressure places you’d like to frequent to improve ventilation, publicly display air quality use HEPA filtration. Ask in person, post online reviews. We all need to advocate for our collective health.

My daughter has had Long Covid for 2 years now. On the wait list for the clinic at St Vincent’s. Got assigned her appointment in March 2023 (!!!!).
She can no longer attend school (Y10) and I can’t work as have to care for her. And our govt does, nothing…

My sister, undergoing chemo, spent 3 weeks in hospital when her kid brought Covid from primary school.

I lived in HK, if you ever accidentally coughed in public you’d be given dagger stares. They considered us Westerners to be filthy with our hygiene habits - coughing and spluttering all over the place.

If it’s true about his wife, we have serious problems with enforcement. I was in Melbourne when Sydney went into lockdown. Vic Health called me every day, sometimes twice, to chat and ensure I was in isolation at home. I hadn’t even been in a hotspot.

Asian countries tend to have very good public health education campaigns. We’ve not had that here. Imagine a “slip, slop, slap” style campaign that explained how ventilation works, how the virus gets into your lungs, how and why to wear a mask 😔
