I think we will shave some spending in spots, then up tax breaks causing a net defecit+ Maybe Trump 47 will actually reduce our debt. But I don’t believe he will.

@TrishtheSkeptic @kittypurrzog You said you were concerned about the 36T dollar deficit. But now you seem to be saying you’re fine if we, for example, cut 1T in various programs you don’t like, give that 1T back to billionaires in the form of tax refunds, and continue going further into debt.

@Advanced_mnky Yeah this is why I’m pretty intentionally glued to the center and will never be in any of these tribes. The far Left is completely nuts. But there’s definitely an anti-gay strain (and TBH a racist strain) that exists on the Right, and those need to be kept in check too.

@kittypurrzog Yes! Not to mention that these efforts make regions more stable and safe, which is good for us. And us having a helping hand in there (instead of China, Russia, etc) serves us reputationally and in terms of influence. GOP and Dems understood this until like 5 minutes ago lol

When a place goes from a horror show to less horrible, it becomes less likely to be an “unstable” region where war, terror, and other new diseases can arise 2. When the U.S. is the one to make a place less horrible, it’s noted there. Ups our own reputation

@Advanced_mnky I agree with this. Maxine Waters is a clown but she’s an elected part of a federal government and sending some random guy out of a federal government building to say “you can’t come in here” was not the right look and probably not really legal either

@nycexpatmom I agree in part. Cancellation for a past mistakes is stupid. But it is really important that if you see some hateful comment in someone’s history, you actually verify it’s not who they are today. Has Vance done that? Does he care? Would it be good for the public to know?
