There is no trust. Patients think each doctor is there to fleece them. Doctor think each patient as a potential litigant and trouble maker. Damage is irreversible.
I have worked for 10 years in pvt hospitals believe me I have never ever been ever asked to do things for profits or given targets to do mri or ct scans. We do lot of scans from outside or inside hospitals just to follow science and not to harm Pts or fleece them.

Tale of two APMLs. 1) Presented in jan, had a stormy course, came out. I planned consolidation, he said "mera patient theek hai,ap logo ne loot macha rakhi hai" and left. 2) Came last week. marrow - APML. I told him to start chemo, he repeated👆 and left🙄. Where did I go wrong?.

Managed couple of T LGL, never actually going in detail about phenotype, trusting my pathologist friend completely 🙂. One of them doing well, under observation for last 1yr, other recd MTx, steroid, had poor response and died.
