You gotta be kidding me with this. Tesla wasn’t even around back then, how would there be any charging stations?? Had to look it up to make sure. You should probably delete this, it’s embarrassing

Thanks Mike, but actually no countries should be in red because every country has a building shorter than 50m. This is a silly mistake, but it is misinformation. Pls take your tweet down immediately or im going to have to report it.

I don’t understand the point of this map. Obviously people in Australia can walk to it because they are already in Australia! It just doesn’t seem like this map is very useful at all

Russia went in and committed war crimes to prevent Ukrainian war crimes? Even though no war crimes were being committed until Russia decided to invade?

We are probably speaking from different perspectives, but I have honestly never met an ‘American propagandist’ in any political science class I have ever taken. Political science students are the most left-leaning and America-critical people I know here. And I love them for it.

The armies of nuclear powers have engaged with each other multiple times since WW2. It is an incredibly lazy and overstated false equivalence.

Wait till they find out that the electricity that powers their home (and thus their car charger) is also powered by oil. EV’s are certainly better for the environment, but also require fossil fuels.
@micah_erfan
We see it playing out in our lives everyday. 90% of people are in economic precarity; in the richest country in the world over half live paycheck to paycheck w/ consolidation of political power and resources. Its not a boogie man, it’s a nightmare we are all currently living in

I think this would qualify as an oral contract. If Garcia refused to pay, Tank could sue and probably win if there was evidence of the agreement.

The squad voted against bc of concerns for the precedent. The bill (arguably) erodes due process/4th amendment rights. As was demonstrated by the the War on Terror… these can very well be legitimate fears (e.g. the Patriot Act). And the far-right did because they’re pro-Russia.

If Hillary nominated 2 or 3 justices to the court instead of Gorsuch/Kavanaugh/Barrett… that wouldn’t have made a difference? This is a really dumb tweet

Where is the hesitancy for the 4.3 trillion in military spending over the same period of time? More military spending than the next 10-12 countries combined. Republicans aren't afraid of debts or spending money, they're responsible for our biggest deficits in history.

The 1.7 billion dollars was owed to Iran. In 1979, they paid for military equipment that we never gave them. Reimbursement was part of the deal. It was never our money.

Yes, the (far) right likes Russia because Russia is far right. How’s that’s wrong? Look at MTG’s rhetoric. Watch a damn Tucker Carlson clip for Christ’s sake. If you’re this embarrassingly clueless, please stop diagnosing other’s with brain damage.

Condemnations without action won’t protect anyone. Arming Ukrainians so they can protect themselves against an “absolutely unjustified” act of aggression has not made the situation worse. The West is helping protect Ukrainian sovereignty. This is anti-imperialist by definition.

Beef consumption has raised not lowered. This is because there are a greater number of people today and because there is a greater number of people who can afford it. The point is that the growth is slower than it would’ve otherwise been had there not been other options.
@TraitNamer
If you condone inequality of outcomes, you must either be okay with a system that disadvantages people on the basis of being in these groups... or you believe that there is an inherent inequality between the groups that justifies unequal outcomes. Both are bad positions.
@TheConsciousLee
Please do not! The environmental impact of cypto is understated. ETH emits about 102 Kg of C02 per transaction. This is equivalent to 226,910 visa transactions. The amount of energy required to buy one coffee with Eth could power the average American household for a week.

In order to eat animals, you need to kill both plants and animals. Animals need to eat something too, and we force feed them plants for our profits. You are still responsible for plant death, and in fact are responsible for more plant death.
@LolOverruled
withholding ur vote won’t improve anything. It empowers the already advantaged right when the left sits out. Dems aren’t going to learn whatever lesson you think they need to if they lose in 24. And by letting the R’s win you do great harm to ppl everywhere (including Gaza)

60 seats doesn’t mean anything when there were 5 or so democratic senators who were so conservative, that even milquetoast neoliberal reform (original aca) was too bold for them. Passing Obamacare (as insufficient as it was) in that political climate, was a heroic achievement.
@NathanJRobinson
How can someone as well studied as you not understand that our electoral structure simply doesn’t allow for effective third parties? What’s the point?
To be clear—the argument here isn’t that medicine should be free. I believe medicine should be affordable and believe it would be if it weren’t for the Big Pharma racket. The argument here is that I’m not buying that our government is suddenly in the business of saving lives.

You can’t have the electoral college without FPTP. The electoral college is merely a specific way we in the US use FPTP, which is a more general categorization. I don’t understand why we’re pitting them against one another

Vogelbach should lose a roster spot before Escobar. He can’t play defense, can’t run, can’t hit lefties, can’t hit the ball over the fence. If he’s not elite against righties he is completely useless
