This was the same month SEA signed Matt Flynn in 2012, I believe. Peyton didn’t take the meeting, SEA drafted Russell in the draft a couple of months later, he beat out Flynn in preseason, and the rest is history. Imagine them signing Manning & Andy Reid drafting Russ that year..
